Creative products, locally made

Making locally, the new normal.

We’re Marie & François — two makers, two engineers. We’re building a world where things are made sustainably and to order, and where recycling and upcycling are the norm.

Who we are

Two makers,
two engineers,
one atelier.

We both grew up convinced that things should be made — not just bought. A lamp, a piece of furniture, a toy. We studied engineering because we wanted to understand how. We worked in industry because we wanted to see the scale. Then we built micro-fabriek.be — because we thought it could be done another way.

Today we share our atelier, our tools and our time. With people who want something made. With kids who want to learn how. With other makers looking for a more sustainable path.

“We build tools that make it easier for makers to produce locally. Software is part of that.”

The manifesto — in our own words

Close to home. Made to order. Built to last. That’s what a product is to us — something you can repair, reuse, and eventually recycle. Whether it’s one piece or a thousand: if it can return to the cycle, it’s right.
